This came out in 2005 — or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
There’s nothing wrong with being a one-hit wonder. But there’s nothing worse than a one-hit wonder that won’t accept its lot.
That’s when you end up with discs like The Diary Of The Madmen, a closet-clearing hodge-podge of dull, dated, drunken ditties recorded by Toronto upstarts Len while they spent the last six years living off the profits from 1999’s hip-pop phenom Steal My Sunshine. Hope you enjoyed the party, kids. Now it’s time to go home.
