Now Hear This: Spam Javelin | The Three Chords Of The Apocalypse

I'm getting caught up on the good albums that have come out lately. Like this one.

THE EDITED BIO:Spam Javelin are a sub-hardcore band formed in 2015 by singer-guitarist Neil Crud, bassist Steve Brute and drummer Gwion Griffiths. Their début EP How Can You Die When You’re Already Dead came out in 2015. Their first album The Crack Whores of Betws Garmon arrived in 2019. They are known for prolific gigging.

In 2017 family constraints led Brute to take a part-time role, so a number of stand-in bassists were drafted in to fulfil commitments until Tracey Howarth joined the band following Steve’s departure. Gwion’s other commitments have also led he band to use a number of drummers. They hit the headlines in August of 2019 when they were refused entry to the U.S.A. at Minneapolis airport on the eve of their U.S. tour. The Three Chords Of The Apocalypse is their second album, and fittingly includes the song God Bless America, featuring the refrain “We’re never going to play in the U.S.A.! It also includes a cover of the Subhumans classic Fuck You.”
