This came out in 2005 — or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
Long before he became Sir Robert, Bob Geldof was a skinny Irish singer who fronted a fantastic band called The Boomtown Rats.
And before they scored a left-field hit with the homicidal-teen ballad I Don’t Like Mondays, they specialized in punky, punchy new wave and post-punk numbers like (I Never Loved) Eva Braun, Rat Trap and Looking After No. 1. All of which you’ll find on this DVD, which unearths unreleased footage from a turbocharged live gig and augments it with extra audio cuts and videos from Sir Bob’s most recent album.
