This came out in 2003 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
THE ORIGINAL RELEASE DATES: 1985, 1988.
THE BACK STORY: The page-boy haircut; the mismatched kiddie clothes; the whiny voice and demented brilliance of jokes like, “Probably the toughest time in anyone’s life … is when you have to murder a loved one because they’re the devil.” If you missed Emo Philips the first time around, now’s the time to catch up with this disc of old live gigs.
THE GOODIES: Titles like I’m A Great Lover, I Bet and Why I Am Quite Handy With the Ladies — not to mention The Perils Of Inbreeding — say it all.
