THE EDITED PRESS RELEASE: “Chloe is the name Dana Foote’s mother almost gave her when she was born. It’s also the name of an irreverent character in her favorite TV show, Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23, and the name she used to give strangers at bars when she wanted to invent new histories for herself on nights out. Its omnipresence in her life led to the genesis of Sir Chloe, the band she formed during her senior year at Bennington College in Vermont when she opted to put on a concert in lieu of a thesis. She rounded up guitarist and producer Teddy O’Mara, her brother Palmer Foote on drums, and bassist Austin Holmes. Together, they began to develop a sound as much inspired by Bikini Kill as Stravinsky.”
