This came out in 2005 — or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
Once upon a time, 1984 was the scary future. (And a great Van Halen disc.) Now it’s the good old days to punk icon Roger Miret.
On this rough ’n’ tumble second album from his solo band The Disasters, the Agnostic Front-man remains as attached to his old-school ways as he is to his tattoos. From the neck-sliding Johnny Thunders guitar riffs and fist-pumping beats to the antisocial lyrics and “Hey, ho, let’s go!” chants, these 13 streetwise anthems are time capsules of classic ’70s punk. If you missed 1984 — the year, not the VH album — the first time around, Miret can definitely bring you up to speed.
