Blue Fish Diamond Beg For One More Chance

The Irish sextet chronicle a love on its last legs in their elegantly emotive new ballad.

Blue Fish Diamond hope you’ll give love One More Chance in their heartfelt new single — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

The endearing Irish sextet’s latest release is a moving anthem for anyone who’s ever loved, lost and lived to regret it. A plaintive lament about a relationship beset with feelings of deep love, jealousy and insecurity, the transfixing tale opens with Matilda O’Mahony’s haunting vocals, describing yet another romantic falling-out: “Waiting for the phone to ring, this deathly silence makes me think…” It quickly becomes clear that the relationship is on its last legs, with the protagonist pleading for “one more chance.” The music captures the turbulent nature of the relationship, building from a solo piano intro to an orchestral crescendo before closing with a sense of calm once again.
