This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
“I dedicated my life to becoming a big rock star / I began to change,” bellows Saliva frontman Josey Scott over a standard nü-metal template of thundering beats and buzzsaw guitars.
And how did he change? “I rearranged my life / So I could buy a big rock ’n’ roll car.” Well, you gotta hand it Saliva. I never thought we’d find a band that could make Default seem like rocket scientists.
