Rockers O.A.R. have just announced their new album Live In Boston — even though they haven’t recorded it yet.
The platinum-certified band’s upcoming live outing — their seventh, for those keeping score — will capture the electrifying band’s performance at the sold-out Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston on July 20. Fans worldwide will have the opportunity to experience this special night as it will be streamed live on Veeps — and then pressed on vinyl. Stream tickets and pre-orders for the O.A.R. Live In Boston three-disc bundle are now available HERE and HERE.
This announcement comes as O.A.R. prepare to embark on a nationwide tour, starting July 16 at Red Hat Amphitheatre in Raleigh, N.C. The tour will run through Labor Day, featuring stops at iconic venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, L.A.’s Greek Theatre, and two back-to-back sold-out nights at The Rooftop at Festival Pier in New York City.
Joining O.A.R. on this tour will be Fitz and The Tantrums, Ripe and DJ Logic, making for an unforgettable concert experience. The band will close the tour at the sold-out Oceans Calling Festival from Sept. 27-29 in Ocean City, MD. Tickets and VIP packages for O.A.R.’s Summer Tour 24 are available HERE and all major ticket outlets.
O.A.R. might just be music’s biggest best-kept secret. The Rockville, MD band have quietly sold out Madison Square Garden twice, filled Red Rocks Amphitheater a dozen times, earned platinum and gold plaques, lit up the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration, and built one of the most committed fanbases in the world. The group — Marc Roberge (lead vocals, guitar), Richard On (lead guitar, backing vocals), Chris Culos (drums), Benj Gershman (bass) and Jerry DePizzo (saxophone, guitar, backing vocals), accompanied by Mikel Paris (keys, backing vocals, percussion) and Jon Lampley (trumpet, backing vocals) — entered a new chapter with their 10th studio album The Arcade.
