As anyone acquainted with the twisted majesty and immense power of super-sized acoustic-metal gods Tenacious D can attest, theirs is a formidable talent. Hence, this formidable two-DVD set, which gives the D — Jack Black and Kyle Gass, aka JB and KG, aka Jables and Kage — their long-overdue due. Complete Master Works contains all their old HBO TV episodes, a live show, a tour documentary, videos for Tribute, Wonderboy and FHG, short films, commercials, TV appearances and some very, very sick short films. In other words, it’s everything the true D devotee could want. Rock.
