Albums Of The Week: Stewart Copeland | Klark Kent Deluxe Edition

All those weird Stewart Copeland songs you used to skip over on all The Police LPs? This is what it would be like if you strung them all together into one goofy album.

THE EDITED PRESS RELEASE: “The first solo project by a member of The Police, drummer Stewart Copeland’s Klark Kent project emerged in 1978 as a series of singles and culminated in a 1980 self-titled album.

This deluxe edition of that release features newly remastered versions of all the original non-album singles, the full 1980 self-titled album, plus two previously unreleased studio recordings and 12 previously unreleased demo versions. Klark Kent features Copeland on all of the instruments and vocals. The set includes the single Don’t Care, which hit the U.K. Top 50 chart in advance of any song by The Police.”
