Lenea Wants You To Send Her A Love Song

The Norwegian pop singer-songwriter voices her romantic hopes in her new single.

Lenea asks to be serenaded in her sweetly sunny new single Send Me A LoveSong — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

The title track from the Norwegian soul-pop singer-songwriter’s new EP, Send Me A LoveSong is “a melodious and catchy song in vintage garb,” says Lenea (aka Lene Andersen Vinje). “This is a story about the hopeful love story that has so far proved to ebb out time after time (until) you start to wonder if you will ever find love. Should you dare to hope or will you just be disappointed again?”

Lenea is an up-and-coming independent artist and songwriter in Oslo. Her sound blends pop and soul with elements of gospel and funk, and features deep personal songs with complex vocal compositions. Lenea has been a contestant on The Voice Norway, warmed up for Adam Douglas and played on stages such as Cafe Sør, Herr Nilsen and John Dee in Oslo. Among others, she has collaborated with David Haynes, a Grammy-nominated drummer who has played with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Prince, Mary J. Blige and Chaka Kahn.

Send Me A LoveSong features Audun Barsten Johnsen on keyboards and Espen Baardseth Narum on drums. It was produced, co-written and mastered by Martin “Mosti” Mosether. Watch the video for Send Me A LoveSong above, listen to the EP below, and follow Lenea on Instagram and Facebook.
