Classic Album Review: P.O.D. | Payable on Death

The Angelino rap-rockers plod on dismally on their ponderous & predicable third LP.

This came out in 2003 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

Sure, these born-again Angelino rap-rockers say their name stands for Payable On Death. But after listening to their self-titled third album — a CD that blends the humourless wimpiness of Christian-rock with the ponderous banality of nü-metal and the annoying predictability of reggae — I can only conclude it also stands for Plodding on Dismally.
