Bachman & Bachman Illuminate Shadows Of Yesteryear

The father-son CanRock dynasty will stage a one-of-a-kind performance.

Two generations of a Canadian rock dynasty are about to open a new chapter in their story. Singer-guitarist Randy Bachman and his son Tal Bachman — who recently joined forces as Bachman & Bachman — will unveil songs from their upcoming album Shadows Of Yesterday at a one-of-a-kind concert in Ontario this weekend.

The duo will perform at JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka Resort & Spa in Minett, ON. The show is scheduled to be outdoors at the great lawn overlooking Lake Rosseau, weather permitting. A VIP/ afterparty package includes front row seating for the concert in Muskoka chairs, firepits and blankets. Ticketholders will receive an email with preferred concert room rates to book rooms on a first-come, first-served basis. No members of the public will be able to reserve rooms.

The show will cover The Guess Who, Bachman Turner Overdrive and Tal Bachman’s solo career, with a set list that features American Woman, These Eyes, No Sugar Tonight, Takin’ Care of Business, Roll On Down The Highway, Let It Ride, You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet, No Time, She’s So High and more, including songs from Shadows Of Yesterday.

Produced by Ryan Hadlock (Lumineers, Vance Joy, Brandi Carlile) in the historic Bear Creek Studios, Shadows Of Yesterday is a 13-chapter masterpiece built over two generations. The new album will also serve as the soundtrack for an upcoming documentary about Randy’s recently relocated Gretsch guitar.
