Late-Night TV Music (International Edition) | Feb. 11, 2019

Take a musical journey with Black Pink, Alessia Cara, Metro Boomin & Gunna.

I don’t know if music really is the universal language. But I do know that the musical segments on Monday’s late-night talk shows were all over the map — and beyond. New Korean pop sensations Black Pink kicked off the international tour by debuting their intriguingly titled Ddu-du Ddu-du on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Canada’s own Alessia Cara, fresh from razzing Bob Newhart at the Grammys, showed off her latest ugly sport coat while performing the ballad Out of Love on The Late Late Show With James Corden. And finally, superstar producer Metro Boomin took us out of this world with his track Space Cadet, conducting an astronaut orchestra (and silently voicing his support for ICE-bound British-born rapper 21 Savage) while Gunna bragged about all his stuff. See if everyone comes back down to Earth tomorrow.
