This came out in 2005 — or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
Yep, it’s Waylon’s kid. In fact, Shooter Jennings’ real first name is Waylon too.
And if that and the title of his first album don’t make it clear enough that he’s a chip off the southern outlaw block, scrappy country-rock barnburners like Busted In Baylor County and Steady At The Wheel — not to mention bruised ballads like Sweet Savannah and Lonesome Blues — oughta do the trick.
