Ivy bassist Adam Schlesinger is likely better known for his other band — Fountains of Wayne. But make no mistake; this female-fronted pop outfit is second to none.
On this fifth full-length, Parisian-born singer Dominique Durand’s seductively airy, Astrud Gilberto-style vocals float above pastel-coloured pop-rock bonbons and trippy synthscapes — all laced with sweet melodies and baited with lightly barbed hooks. Stacy’s mom isn’t the only one who’s got it goin’ on.
