Classic Album Review: Sigmatropic | Sixteen Haiku & Other Stories

Some underground acts / mix some music with haiku / it's kind of a yawn.

This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

Haiku: Poems with three / Lines, 17 syllables / In five, seven, five.

On this unique disc / Some alt-rockers do haiku / By George Sefaris
There’s Lee Ranaldo / The gal from Stereolab / Cat Power and more
But Sigmatropic? / They’re Greeks who noodle in a / New Agey way. Yawn.
