Classic DVD Review: Rage Against The Machine | Live At The Grand Olympic Auditorium

The rap-rock rabble-rousers go out with a bang on this document of their final gig.

This came out in 2003 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

Rap-rock rabble-rousers Rage Against The Machine go out with a bang on this DVD document of their final performance — whipping a hometown Angelino crowd into a frenzy with incendiary, fearsomely aggressive versions of Freedom, Testify, Bullet In The Head, Killing In The Name and more, along with a cover of Cypress Hill’s How I Could Just Kill A Man. Then they close with John Denver’s Sunshine On My Shoulder. Just kidding. But they definitely aren’t.
