This came out in 2003 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
I read somewhere that Deep Purple’s fan club begged the veteran rockers to change the silly name of this album. In hindsight, perhaps that time and effort should have been devoted trying to get them to write some better songs than the collection of formulaic, plodding rockers and soppy power ballads found on this limp comeback offering. Just a thought.
