Harriet Chung Celebrates Mother’s Day Today And Tomorrow

The Hong Kong-born pop singer voices a mother's love in her tender new single.

Harriet Chung captures a mother’s love in her personal new single and video Today And Tomorrow — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

The latest offering from the Toronto pop artist’s debut album A World Away, Today And Tomorrow is a tenderly touching ballad that dives into the meaning and importance of human connection. Chung takes you on a dreamy, acoustic journey that explores the emotional give and take of a relationship between a mother and her child. You can hear her longing to recapture those memories between herself and her mother as she narrates the chorus:

“In the shining sunlight.
In the darkness of night.
I wish you were here.
Today and tomorrow.

“In the darkness of night
In the shining sunlight
You’re always with me.
Today and tomorrow.”

Today And Tomorrow is about the purest love of all, the love between mother and child,” Chung confirms. “The accomplished international singer continues to say, “It is about remembering the love, happiness, and sacrifice a mother gives and cherishing those fond memories for a lifetime.”

Singer, actress, and dancer/choreographer Chung was born in Hong Kong, but currently makes Canada her home. Praised for her performances in productions of The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, The King and I and more, she has also worked with students across the globe with her school, Harriet Chung Performing Arts.
