Late-Night TV Music (Temptations Aplenty Edition) | May 2/3, 2022

Black Crowes, Linda Lindas, John Misty & more make it a day you'll always remember.

Temptation is everywhere. Ditto The Temptations. For some reason, I’ve been hearing Papa Was A Rolling Stone everywhere lately. It was playing at the grocery store the other day. It was in that new TV version of The Man Who Fell To Earth over the weekend. And on Tuesday, The Black Crowes played their version on Jimmy Kimmel Live to hype their upcoming covers EP 1972. Well, I suspect they played the first half of their version, since it seemed to end rather abruptly, but whatever. Still a treat. As were performances by The Linda Lindas, Father John Misty, Lucius (with the help of Sheryl Crow and Celisse), T-Pain and Teddy Swims — all of whom graced the late-night airwaves on Monday and Tuesday. Play catchup below.
