If it’s Wednesday, that means it’s time for a new Daniel Romano album. The amazingly prolific singer-songwriter continues his campaign of new weekly releases with Dandelion, which arrived this morning with zero fanfare, context or explanation. Until and unless Romano decides to share anything resembling actual information about the album, all I can tell you is that it’s an appropriately summery and breezy collection of nostalgic flower-child folk-pop with plenty of jangly melodies, more than a few floral references in the lyrics, and a light dusting of Beatles-style psychedelia here and there. Of course, you could figure out all of that yourself by giving it a listen below. Which you definitely should. Meet you back here next week.
