Some Brit-pop, some country, some covers and a blast of indie-rock: Wednesday night’s late-night TV music lineup was the equivalent of an eclectic mix tape. Press play on former Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes, who brought his Deep Pockets (above) to The Late Late Show with James Corden. Then switch over to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where Willie Nelson breezed through Summer Wind from his new Frank Sinatra tribute album My Way. Meanwhile, over on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Ann Wilson cranked out a rocking version of Lesley Gore‘s classic You Don’t Own Me. And Lady Antebellum got moody with Hurt on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Finally, hard-driving heroes The Hot Snakes blasted Last Call With Carson Daly with a two-fer of Jericho Sirens and I Hate the Kids. What is not to love? Hit rewind and start again.
