This came out in 2003 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
There are two kinds of people in this world:
1) Those who will get behind the idea of a Black man of Cherokee heritage playing raucous blues classics while wearing an Indigenous head-dress and being backed by a frantic surf band sporting Mexican wrestling masks; and 2) Those who will scratch their heads and wonder what the hell is going on. I suspect you already know where you fit it. And really, nothing I can say is going to change that. If you get it, then get this CD. If you don’t, just move along. There’s nothing for you here.
