Albums Of The Week: Backstreet Girls | In Lust We Trust

The Norwegian indie-rockers are dependably sleazy on their 16th studio release.

THE EDITED PRESS RELEASE: “Norwegian rock legends Backstreet Girls have been going strong since 1984 and have no plans to slow down, on the contrary they are playing more concerts, to bigger audiences, than they may have ever done before. Maybe, like fine wine, Backstreet Girls only get better with age?

In Lust We Trust is their long-awaited 16th studio album. Backstreet Girls cut 10 new tracks for the album, whilst proudly maintaining their signature sound and all of its powerful hallmarks. Play it on volumen brutale!

The band recording In Lust We Trust consists of Bjørn Müller (vocals), Petter Baarli (guitars), Gaute Vaag (bass) and Anders Langset (drums). The album was produced by Stamos Koliousis, who also produced the band’s previous studio album Normal is Dangerous, which was nominated for Spellemannprisen, the Norwegian Grammy.”
