Albums Of The Week: Baby Jesus | Rock And Roll Music

If the Swedish garage-rockers' tellingtly titled fourth album doesn't make you a true believer in the hellish power of their rip-roarin' retro-powered nuggets, nothing wll.

THE EDITED PRESS RELEASE:Rock And Roll Music is the fourth album from Swedish garage rockers Baby Jesus.

It’s an album for the time when you find that a relationship has changed you for the worse and you have come to a realization in the middle of a bright and shiny day as you’re walking down the street and there’s a bunch of unknown faces around. When insanity strikes a sound mind. You can’t have it, you have to walk away to save yourself from inner agony.

The album’s first single I Can’t Have It is a Rolling Stones-esque song with lots of things going on in the background. There’s a neat rhythm guitar, fuzz and a solo that’s slippin’ and slidin’ all over the place. A rock ’n’ roll piece that inevitably will become a standard on every single god damned young band’s setlist in the future.”
