Mindy Sins | Give Me Your Love: Exclusive Premiere

The Ontario power trio offer a ranuchy throwback to the glory days of sleaze-metal.

Mindy Sins know what they want and aren’t afraid to ask for it in their raunchy, riff-rocking single Give Me Your Love — premiering exclusively on Tinnitist.

A throwback to the unabashed hedonism and glam-slam sleaze-rock of hair metal’s glory days, the Ontario power trio’s outrageously entertaining track leaves little to the imagination, delivering an urgent missive straight from their leather-clad crotch to yours:

“Am I the one?
The bad bad boy just looking for fun
So come get down let me give it to ya…
Are you the one?
The dirty little girly just looking for some
So come get down let me give it to ya
Give me your love
I got just what you want.”

Give Me Your Love is Mindy Sins’ take on a raunchy, high-beat romance between a likely regretful choice of man (myself), and a sophisticated woman who may be interested in making a bad decision,” explains singer-guitarist Armando Leibeck. “As with most of the music I write with the group, it typically starts with some form of guitar riff first and lyrics follow based on the mood of the groove.

“At the time I had been listening to a lot of Mötley Crüe and Van Halen, and all of a sudden the vocals just started following the melody of the verses as I was writing them. The track came together in almost one sitting, as it felt like the words just couldn’t hit the page fast enough. I brought the song to the band and we all understood immediately what we had to play. It’s fast, it’s dirty, it’s intimate, and I believe we’ve managed to capture our love for rock ’n’ roll without imitating the work of those who came before us. It’s a taste of the direction we’re heading as artists towards our new music.”

Mindy Sins are as much a band as it is an opportunity to reimagine rock and roll in modern fashion. Based out of Mississauga, they pride themselves on their musical capabilities and love for the art. Whether it be blues, rock, or metal, nothing is off the table when the band writes their music.

Led by Leibeck, Mindy Sins are music students looking to get away from the jazz and classical music they studied. Colin Hassell’s loud, over the top and yet tasteful style on the drum kit fills the void most trios typically struggle with, while Alessandro Zita’s cool and collected bass playing leaves space for the group while holding down the groove. For Leibeck, Mindy Sins is a way to be the person he always wanted to be growing up. The music is all about the guitar, the noise, the passion, the energy, the ability to let out everything and more on each stage and stereo the band reaches.
