Antman Ant’s Multi-Faceted EDM Will Resonate With You

The U.K. producer fuses house, chillout & techno to form something totally fresh.

Antman Ant meticulously crafts a truly mesmeric ambient-tinged deep house tracks on his new album Resonate — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

The British musician and producer’s creations are lush, spacious and multi-layered, creating a cohesive instrumental story that demands to be heard in full. “Resonate is an album that’s meant to be listened to from beginning to end,’ Ant confirms. “I love vinyl for this reason and would like to release something on that format one day. No skipping pausing or rewinding, just enjoy it. While testing Resonate out, it’s proved to be a great driving album.”

Antman Ant is the musical moniker for Sussex artist Ant Goold. Ant has been passionately involved in the EDM scene and making music since the ’90s. His unique signature sound fuses house, ambient chillout and heady techno to form something altogether fresh. During lockdown, he seized the opportunity to experiment and follow his untethered artistic vision. The result is an album that flows and inspires while showcasing Antman Ant’s full dynamic range.

“The album starts with a super chilled beatless intro and builds throughout into some lovely Deep House and full-on festival bangers with some gentle tracks thrown in for good measure,” he says. “Every track means something to me. My music has been described in the past as visual. When you listen, it’s easy to picture a scene to go along with the soundtrack.

“The album cover is a self-portrait of my daughter. On the CD, it cleverly morphs into a beach scene as you open the case. Cover art is something that you just don’t get on any of the streaming sites, which is a real shame and something I wish (they) would develop.”
