Tinnitist TV | Episode 10: Eddie Spaghetti & Frank Meyer

The dynamic duo talk about their new album, their love of The Knack & plenty more.

Sometimes two heads really are better than one. Especially when they belong to Eddie Spaghetti of The Supersuckers and Frank Meyer of The Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs.

The two musicians have been friends and occasional collaborators for years, but now they’ve taken it one step further with their first album together, the wonderfully named Motherfuckin’ Rock ’n’ Roll. Naturally, there’s plenty of that to be found on the album — which is no surprise, given the music these guys have been making for decades. What might a surprise, however, is the love of ’80s music you hear in some of the songs, particularly in their cover of the Kix classic Heartache and their spot-on rendition of The Knack classic My Sharona, which features the band’s lead guitarist recreating his iconic solo note-for-note. From their homes in California, Spaghetti and Frank discussed their friendship and collaboration, their musical tastes and more. Watch and learn.
