I‘ve got about half a dozen jobs I have to get done by the end of today. So hearing Grouplove unveil their new song Deadline on The Late Late Show With James Corden really hit home. Which is why it’s the featured video from Wednesday’s Late-Night TV Music scene. Well, that and the fact that its only competitor is Daya’s performance of Bad Girl on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Not that I’m dumping on the song; thanks to the old-school vibe, it was actually a lot better than I expected it to be. But today, I’ve got no time to debate their relative merits.
