Well, this is certainly a first. At least for me. There are nearly 400 new albums, EPs, singles and reissues arriving this week. But frankly — and surprisingly — I’m not particularly excited about any of them. That’s not for lack of trying; I sampled a whole slew of singles and videos in pursuit of gems for my to-do list. But nothing popped. Weird. I honestly can’t recall it ever happening before. Oh, I’m sure I’ll find more than a few keepers once the music starts arriving in force next week. But right now, I got nothing. So instead of cobbling together some half-assed list of so-called ‘highlights’ to fill space, I’m cuttting to the chase and just printing the long list.
