It isn’t every day that I wake up to discover a new song about my hometown online. But today is the exception — courtesy of iconoclastic troubadour Mark Kozelek and his new track Winnipeg. It’s easily the most detailed and realistic song about Winnipeg since the glory days of John K. Samson and Weakerthans (sorry, Lee Ranaldo). And hey, if Tourism Winnipeg is looking for a new theme song ..
