It must be a Weezer thing. A while back, Rivers Cuomo gave us an extremely early heads-up about their next album Van Weezer, which will arrive in May. Today, their former bassist Matt Sharp announced that his next Rentals album — the cryptically titled Q36 — drops on June 2. So those of you planning your music purchases for eight months from now can start making decisions. For those of us who live a little more in the moment, well, there are also plenty of albums due in the more imminent future. Including the 20 or so new titles announced today and listed below this sneak preview of The Rentals’ new number Spaceships.
