Another day, another whack of fall album announcements. The biggest of today’s bunch is Miranda Lambert, whose seventh major-label disc Wildcard drops Nov. 1. Even though she’s pretty much the epitome of corporate Nashville country — and despite the fact that she’s never exactly been one of my favourite artists to interview — I’ve always respected and enjoyed her LPs, all the way from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend right up The Weight of These Wings. I have no reason to suspect I’ll feel differently about this one, based on the advance singles like the breezy Bluebird, which you can hear below. Also new on the list today: Upcoming releases from Brockhampton, Stereophonics, Simply Red, Adam Lambert and more, along with reissues from INXS, Specials, Jim Sullivan and others. See all the new entries below, and head over to the Upcoming Releases page to see the full fall lineup.
