Tinnitist TV | Episode 130: Mrs. Henry / Chest Fever

The California rockers talk concept albums, The Band catalog and much more.

Some bands have alter egos. These Californians have a split personality.

Half the time they’re Mrs. Henry, a freewheeling indie-rock band whose music ranges from rootsy blues jams to full-blown rock operas. The rest of the time, they’re Chest Fever, an officially sanctioned tribute to The Band who channel the sound of Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm and co. for fans across North America. Somewhere in the midst of their latest jaunt across the Great Divide — whch brings them back to Canada shortly for shows in and around Toronto and Montreal — the quintet’s core trio Zoomed in from their futuristic Airbnb to talk about their new concept album Keep On Rising, getting the thumbs-up from Robertson, being their own opening act and plenty more. Enjoy.
