This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
Organized by Audioslave / RATM axeman Tom Morello and System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian, the Axis of Justice shows brought together assorted artists like Flea, Pete Yorn, Jurassic 5 and Wayne Kramer to rock the vote, fight the power and generally rouse the rabble.
ON THE DVD: More than a dozen live performances, collaborations, skits, interviews, rants and raves.
ON THE CD: A 15-song set including some tunes not on the DVD, like Chris Cornell and Maynard James Keenan’s campfire cover of Nick Lowe’s (What’s So Funny ’Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding.
