Nite Music Promise To Never Let You Go

If you are in need, the Brooklyn rockers will be there will speed.

Nite Music grab you tight and hang on for dear life in their scrappy new single Never Let You Go — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

The Brooklyn foursome nimbly split the diff beetween indie-rock, post-punk, new wave, garage-rock and power-pop on this raucous, rollicking little nugget of guitar-driven retro-rock greatness. After warming up with some clanging chords and rumbling drums, the band hit the ground running and charge headlong through a crunchy, punchy track that sounds like a little like Elvis Costello fronting the mid-period Replacements, with Television’s Tom Verlaine dropping by to serve up some splindly lead guitar curlicues.

Or, as they put it: “The track is a high-octane anthem of naked romantic devotion filtered through a swirling constellation of resplendent guitars and pounding drums. It features synth from Shilpa Ray, backing vocals from Lily Rothman (Sloppy Jane), was produced by Travis Harrison (Guided By Voices) and mastered by Vram Kherlopian (Gustaf).” Fair enough.

Nite Music consist of singer-guitarist Jamie Frey, guitarist Bryan Thornton, drummer Jamie Williams and bassist Amanda Webster. They have played shows with Joanna Sternberg, Jeffrey Lewis, Shilpa Ray, The Men, Josephine Network, Screenager, Powerviolets, The Rizzos and Alex Orange Drink. If you happen to be in Brooklyn tonight, they’re playing a single release show at Main Drag  with Brook Pridemore, Gustaf’s Kherlopian and Tarra Thiessen, and Tom Barrett.
