This came out in 2004 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
Hours and hours of deedly-deedly-deedly, chuggata-chuggata-chuggata and widdly-widdly-widdly from turbocharged axe-slingers Steve Vai (who leads an insanely tight band through a colourful, high-tech live set) and Joe Satriani (who collects a bunch of old video from throughout his career). If you play guitar, you’ll get blisters on your fingers trying to keep up with all their shredding. If you don’t, you might get a sore thumb from fast-forwarding through all the wankery.
