Jenna Nation Insists Your Love Is All She Needs

The Canadian pop singer-songwriter is head over heels in her latest release.

Jenna Nation takes to the streets to sing the praises of a satisfying romance in her new video and single All I Need — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

The latest release from the Canadian pop-R&B singer-songwriter is about being in love and enjoying the feelings that go along with it. The track pays tribute to some of Jenna’s favourite R&B influences like SWV, Janet Jackson, Craig David and Usher, though her lyrics are clearly personal:

“Got my heart telling my mind I ain’t ever felt this before no,
I know it’s a thin line between love and lust you mean more to me,
I’m so relaxed when I’m around you
Forgot my past boy since I found you,
You’re everything I dreamed about and
needed in a man the things you do…
All I need is you.”

Born in Ottawa, Jenna Nation was introduced to music at an early age through her musical family. She began her career with extensive training and success with classical music/opera and jazz. While studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, she began focusing on pop and R&B. Her influences include Michael Jackson, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland and Stevie Wonder. JENNA Nation has worked with a number of Grammy and Juno-winning/nominated producers and songwriters including Boi-1da, Tommy Brown, Victoria Monet, Travis Sayles, Roger Ryan, Kinetics and One Love, Ryan “Ghost” Bowser, Elev3n, Druski, and Young Wolf Hatchlings, among others.

She has performed at Canada Day celebrations on Parliament Hill, at a Grammy Week Showcase and at the official Junos afterperty in Calgary. She has appeared at RBC Bluesfest, the Newport Folk Festival, Boston Outside of the Box Festival, New Skool Rules in Holland and more. She has opened for artists such as Shawn Mendes, Snarky Puppy, Lauv and Chromeo, and been a finalist in several international songwriting competitions.
