THE BACK STORY: Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia’s first musical side trip was this instrumental jazz-fusion outing with keyboardist Howard Wales and a backing band.
THE GOODIES: For Deadheads, plenty of uninterrupted, freewheeling Jerry solos.
THE EXTRAS: For non-Deadheads, the disc clocks in at just 34 minutes.
