Les Techno Wants To Make You Feel Good

The N.Y.C. pop provocateur's latest is based on something he knows too much about.

Les Techno has just one goal in mind: To Make You Feel Good with his new single — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

The modern rock and electro-pop provocateur’s latest makes a mixture of a downtown rock sound with his pointed critique of promises, relationships and affairs of the heart. A thumping beat, guitar sounds as background with percussive electronic sounds in the foreground make this an interesting sound treatment of modern rock and dance music. Les delivers his lyrics with a low, warm and seductive voice.

Asked about the song, all he lets on to is that “it’s loosely based on something I know too much about.”

This prolific and highly versatile New York-based musician and producer is known for his sardonic lyrical wit and masterful blend of industrial-tinged post-punk, alternative, pop and electronica. His musical output always straddles the line between pointed social commentary, autobiographical admissions and expansive mystique.

In the past, Les has made hip-hop tracks with Run-DMC, Mobb Deep, Onyx and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Now, he focuses solely on his own captivating and label-defying solo work. A New York City rocker, noted guitarist and studio whiz-kid, Les Techno’s prior releases Guilty Pleasure and Come Along get regular play. Edge of the World reached No. 20 on the Indie DRT Chart and No. 144 of the Global DRT Chart in December 2019.

Make You Feel Good continues this artist’s embrace of adventurous and fearless experimentation in the pursuit of a wholly unique signature sound. Check out the track above, hear more from Les Techno below, and get more good stuff on his website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
