Classic Album Review: Fleetwood Mac | The Very Best of

The California-rock quintet collect their essential ’70s hits in a double-disc set.

This came out in 2002 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

If you already own decent-sounding copies of Fleetwood Mac, Rumours and Tusk, you probably don’t need this. If you don’t have them, now you don’t need to buy ’em. This two-CD set compiles the co-ed quintet’s essential ’70s hits, plus a few later cuts and rarities (but, sadly, nothing from the old pre-Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham Mac). It may be the very best, but it isn’t all their best.
