Chayce Kennedy puts her foot down in her unapologetic, self-empowered new single and lyric video No — premiering exclusively on Tinnitist.
Pairing with Grammy award-winning producer Brian West (Sia, Maroon 5, Nelly Furtado), the rising B.C. pop singer-songwriter’s defiant, determined and darkly potent track delivers a direct hit to the confusing, confounding messages found within the ubiquitous social media machine’s invasively toxic culture.
Set against a sonically sophisticated backdrop of elegant piano, thumping tom-toms and atmospheric sonics, Kennedy exposes her own vulnerabilities while simultaneously showcasing the strength reflected in her core belief that “your own value is not determined by what others might think of you.”
Kennedy previously worked with Ryan Stewart, who is best known for his work with Carly Rae Jepsen, Jocelyn Alice, Carys and Tyler Shaw. Chayce currently has four songs released, with an EP coming soon. The very personal messages of her music will resonate with many young women struggling to discover and enjoy their own unique identity and purpose.
