Mad Symphony keep you coming back for more with their hard-hitting single and video Do It All Over Again — showcasing today on Tinnitist.
The latest single from the B.C. sextet’s self-titled EP, Do It All Over Again aims to be an anthem of the ages, with pounding percussion, amplified electric guitar and powerhouse vocals leading the charge. As they describe, it’s rock for the rebels; the fist-pumping hullabaloo your parents tried to keep you away from as teenagers.
“We encourage the listener to embrace resilience, while never giving up on their dreams,” the band say. “With a giant middle finger held up to the haters and trolls of the world, this song will make you want to pump your fist and sing along.”
The collective drew upon the classics for the track, taking inspiration from the likes of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Van Halen and Scorpions. Do It All Over Again is emblematic of a sound still as prevalent, beloved and revered as it was the day it was consuming radio airwaves, boomboxes and arcades in the ’70s and ’80s.
Mad Symphony features Kevin Wright (lead vocals, percussion), Dave Groves (lead guitar, background vocals), Ted Tosoff (rhythm guitar, background vocals), Mike Russell (keyboards, background vocals), Amrit Prasad (bass) and Wes Hallam (drums). The magic and the mystery behind Mad Symphony’s chemistry — not to mention their ability to pen epic arena-rock anthems — come from the decades they’ve spent amassing rock ’n’ roll knowhow through a series of individual projects and groups.
