The first in an inventive annual series, the six-track set finds award-winning Canadian electronic artist, producer and Vibe Raiders co-founder Jay Slay regifting holiday classics in electro, dance, and EDM wrappers — with the assistance of an all-star cast of musical elves.
A Very Vibin’ Christmas includes modern takes on Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, The First Noel, Silent Night and more, and welcomes guests such as L.A.’s Nevve — one of the world’s top electronic vocal crews — along with American Idol finalist Robbie Rosen, Victoria’s Scarlett Darling and Edmonton’s Kelly Alaina.
In addition to writing, producing and running his Vibe Raiders label, Jay Slay — aka Jonathan Robert Hamill — is also a noted conference speaker, author, and educator. He has spoken on musicians’ mental health as the Virtual Electronic Music Summit 2020’s Pandemic Panic Panel facilitator, and contributed to the Music Industry Therapists & Coaches’ touring artist mental health manual 2021.
