Some days you just wanna head for the hills. At least I do. And it seems I’m not alone, based on one contributor to Monday’s Late-Night TV Music scene.
That would be The Local Natives & Sharon Van Etten, who took to the great outdoors (somewhere near their L.A. homes, I presume) to croon their deceptively sweet and soothing Lemon for Jimmy Kimmel Live. Of course, maybe that’s not your thing. Maybe you would prefer something more soulful. In that case, you could choose between sibling quintet Infinity Song’s rendition of Mad Love on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis and Babyface’s performance of He Don’t Know Nothin’ Bout It for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Of course, if you were really hoping for something poppier, there’s always Julia Michaels singing Lie Like This on Late Night with Seth Meyers. If none of those work for you, well, you’re on your own. I suggest heading you-know-where.
