The Harts Industry | The Day Is Pale

It began as a sort of one-man band, initially developed through the use of a few essential instruments (acoustic guitar, voice and stomp box). His new EP is titled A Long Cold Summer. “I wrote this psych folk-blues song a few years ago,” he says. “It was recorded between an old house scattered around in the Sardinian countryside and a real recording studio. The lyrics tell the story of an orphan who is found in a cave by a decent man that adopted him. As a teenager, he falls in love (and he is loved back)) with two twin sisters, an evil girl and a good girl, he will choose the evil one and run away with her without any regrets, but we will never know how this “romantic” getaway ends.”
