All of their social media pages contain the same single sentence: “Post-punk Garage-rock band out of Cape Town, South Africa.” All of which is true. Though they could also have said: “What The Libertines might sound like if Pete Doherty were a cross between Robert Smith and Jack White — and the band’s playlist expanded beyond The Clash and Johnny Thunders to include The B-52’s, The Cramps, Talking Heads, The Velvet Underground and surf music.”
