Late-Night TV Music (Life & Death & Caution & Craziness Edition) | May 13, 2020

Ben Gibbard, The Killers & Leslie Odom Jr. bring timely tunes to the airwaves.

Ben Gibbard is singing our song. Literally. The Death Cab For Cutie frontman debuted his topical new acoustic-guitar ballad Life in Quarantine on Wednesday’s edition of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. And he wasn’t the only one offering some timely music on late-night TV. Vegas rockers The Killers unveiled an intimate version of Caution from their upcoming album Imploding The Mirage on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. And Leslie Odom Jr. got his groove on — with the help of his daughter — during his Zoom-assisted rendition of Go Crazy on The Late Late Show With James Corden. I think we can all relate.
